Arlington, TX Appliance Repair

Arlington is the stadium city in the middle of the Metroplex: AT&T Stadium, Globe Life Field and Six Flags along I-30, and UT Arlington near downtown. We're based in Dallas and Arlington is part of our regular area, so booking a repair here works the same way as anywhere in the Metroplex.

Request a repair

$150 service call, free when we do the repair. We call back weekdays 8–5.

Ice maker calls from Arlington

Ice makers depend on everything upstream: water pressure, the filter, the inlet valve, the fill tube and a freezer cold enough to freeze a tray in a reasonable time. When ice stops, start with the filter date and the shutoff arm. Small or hollow cubes point to water flow. Water on the floor or a block of ice in the bucket points to a frozen fill tube. On French door fridges with the ice maker in the door, repeated freeze-ups have a cause we can track down.

Before you book in Arlington

  1. Reset the outlet and breaker. GFCI outlets in garages and kitchens trip more than people expect.
  2. Photograph the model sticker. Text it to us so the tech can check parts.
  3. Note any code on the display. Even a blinking light pattern helps.
  4. Look at the water or gas valve. Half-closed valves fake a lot of failures.

Tips for Arlington homeowners

Wipe the gasket

A sticky or dirty door gasket doesn't seal. Wipe fridge and dishwasher gaskets with warm soapy water every few months.

Empty the ice bin

Before a trip, turn the ice maker off and empty the bin. Ice that half-melts and refreezes jams the auger.
