NOISY

A bad pump or impaired spray arm can cause the dishwasher to make unusual noises. The plastic rings that help support the spray arm could also be worn, broken or loose.

Obstructed water pump

The water pump is responsible for the pressure available to the jets. If this pump gets clogged, it may become weak and lack the force to push the water through the system. Pumps also wear out over time and need to be replaced.

Improper water temperature

variations in water temperature affect how well your dishwasher works. Heating elements or faulty thermostats may cause water to be heated insufficiently for optimum performance.

Detergent dispenser failure

detergent dispensers are very important in a dishwasher cycle. If this compartment does not open at the right time, the detergent is not released, causing the wash cycle to be less effective than normal.

Clogged filter

filters are an important feature in the design of a dishwasher and allow it to work properly. When these filters become obstructed, food may stay in the dishwasher throughout the cycle, causing unsightly and unsafe residues to be left behind.

Detergent Doesn’t Dispense

Detergent dispensers can’t open if they are clogged with residue or otherwise impaired, preventing detergent from releasing. Other reasons detergent isn’t dispensing include loose rinse-aid caps and timer issues.
