LG is a South Korean company and one of the biggest sellers of fridges and front-load laundry in the US. Its washers are known for clear error codes, and its French door fridges for in-door ice makers.
Common problems
Washer
OE is a drain problem, LE is a motor fault, UE means the load is out of balance and dE is a door problem.
Refrigerator
On some models the linear compressor has been a known weak spot. Fans and defrost parts fail too, and those cost far less.
Ice maker
Frost building in the ice compartment on French door models.
Dryer
A blocked vent most of the time, sometimes a heater or sensor.
LG washers and fridges have a model sticker inside the door frame or on the side wall. It includes a suffix after the model, like .ABWEEUS. Send us the whole thing.
Text a photo of the sticker to (469) 720-0002 and we'll know which parts to look at.
